The ever-increasing activities in space are blurring the boundaries between space and earth, and activity is only expected to increase. On-orbit manufacturing, the ISS, the upcoming Lunar Gateway, SpaceX's expected exploration of Mars in the 2030s all call for humanity to be aware of what is happening above our heads. The space technologies that will be created in the next twenty years will undoubtedly change the future of civilization.
AstroAlert provides you with updates of these space events: whether it's rocket launches, landings, engine tests, or spacewalks. Whatever it is, we've got you covered.
You can subscribe to get text or email updates to keep you informed. Each subscription includes the ability to do both, or one/the other. Plus, you have access to our exclusive weekly and monthly email digests that summarize upcoming events, so that you know what to expect.

AstroAlert (Beta) was built in 3 days by Matt Drew in September 2023, but was passively worked on since 2019.
The Beta iteration currently contains 1 feature: the T-minus 15-minute email. We chose to keep the beta iteration's feature set small because perfecting these features would allow the team to create more advanced features at a higher reliability.
AstroAlert is built with LaunchLibrary v2, Google Firebase Firestore, Google Firebase Realtime Database, Google Auth, Google Fonts, Stripe, Bootstrap 5, Twilio, and Particles.js.
